May you stay... Forever Young

I just love this commercial... seriously, just for no reason. The 0:43-0:48 mark is the best part of the commercial, bravo Pepsi... bravo... Coca-Cola is still better though.

Flashback ˧ Pretty Cool, huh?

I had to make a Stopmotion video for my Art class, so I decided to do something random from the first thing I saw and... you guessed it, the first thing I saw was a hat on my friends head, then I said hey, I might as well use my hat. As the video goes on I leave the hat a it follows me and changes into a different hat for a second, well that's cause when I was making this. I only had this Digital Art class once every week so, I forgot my hat I was using once and had to use my friend Hannah's, if you wanted to know. Anyway, if you have a comments, or questions... comment below. Enjoy!

"Good Riddance!"

My man Jay-Z, as usual just doing what he does best. I'm sitting here right now with my Aunt, and she loves this song, in fact she is actually blasting it right through her speakers, haha. Enjoy. The American Gangster does it again...

Lupe Fiasco's Shining Down Artwork

According to Amazon, the official single from Lupe’s upcoming album will be released on July 7th. I can't wait till the album comes out man, his new album, Lasers, I have been waiting for his new album forever. I was so happy when Atlantic Records said he couldn't retire cause that would corrupt his contract. He knew he didn't want to retire anyways, he's such a good rapper.

Lil Wayne hits the Courtroom

Apparently, Lil Wayne is going to court because in January, when Wayne was arrested in Yuma near a U.S. Border Patrol checkpoint. Police reports note the officers found cocaine, Ecstasy and a hand gun in his car. Ouch. I have two words for Lil Wayne on this one... good luck. It's funny how they still have hope for this guy... check out more on the Dwayne's case below, and for those whose who don't know Dwayne is Lil Wayne's first name.
James Tilson is Wayne's attorney, and he is hoping to help his client out by questioning the training of the drug sniffing dog that helped search the car.

Border officials have not turned in training records for the dog and Tilson says it's vital to the case.

"If the dog is not reliable, then that puts the entire probable cause for the stop into question," he said, in an Associated Press report.

Tilson is also hoping to see something in video cameras that may have taped the arrest. The judge has issued another court date, August 11, for this matter. Wayne has pleaded not guilty to all charges. This follows another drug bust charge. In March, a judge dismissed similar charges that came from 2006.
I don't know... he might win the case all cause he is a rapper... it's happened in the past.

Complex Magazine Interview with Lupe Fiasco

An interview with my favorite rapper, Lupe Fiasco, talking with Complex Magazine about his new clothing line, Trilly & Truly. Here's what Complex said:
Where has Lupe been? Our August/September 2008 cover star has been keeping a low profile since the success of his sophomore album The Cool, working on a number of below-the-radar projects in music and fashion.

His burgeoning clothing brand Trilly & Truly has been releasing some select pieces overseas in Japan, but we’re finally starting to get access to it thanks to the brand’s new American website. Lupe stopped by the office recently to talk about all things Trilly & Truly.
My dude is staring own clothing brand, now that's a smart dude. Lupe I applaud you for using your smarts. Some artists think they can only make money off of just singing or rapping, which in some cases works, but most cases doesn't. Soulja Boy might be a ringtone rapper but trust me, he has made millions since he has started due to the fact that he owns his own clothing line, has a shoe line, and has a cartoon TV show for Saturday's in the making... this guy isn't stupid.

Sorta Catchy...

I don't know about Sean Kingston on this one, I like his previous songs a little better (Take You There or Beautiful Girls), but if this is him... it's him. I always thought Rick Ross looked like a older version of Sean Kingston, he also appeared in his Take You There video (which the video sucked). Anyway for the free download click below.

And just for a flashback video (since I like it so much), why not? Enjoy (look below)!

As soon as I saw this I thought of what MC Hammer would say... he made this. In fact, this was a promo commercial for his new show on A&E called Hammertime. But the REALLY funny part is that in this store in LA, they only sells skinny jeans and… well, just take a look. Spotted at 2dopeboyz. 0:44 is a winner!

I really don't know what to say about this...

This one of the Biggest fails ever... if you can't read it, here's what it says:

Lil Wayne wanted (DC-MD-VA)
Reply to: gigs-w3a3t-1218083689@craigslist.org
Date: 2009-06-12, 12:27PM EDT

My son is turning 16 and really wanted Lil Wayne to perform for his birthday gala. Unfortunately his schedule will not permit him to make it. I need a Lil Wayne impersonator desperately.

Here is the kicker my son is blind so you do not need to look like the rapper just sound like him. I understand he grunts and mumbles a lot. I don’t care if you are 67 and Jewish if you can sing the songs you’re hired. Money is not an issue. Name your price. Interested individuals please let me know your rap experience, video of you performing as Lil Wayne would be better. If that is not feasible we can arrange for a live audition.

Serious inquiries only, this is very important to my family. Young Money Baby!

I really don't know about you guys but this one of the biggest fails I have ever seen in my life... truthfully I mean the guy is blind, so I wouldn't pay money for something he is probably not going to enjoy and end up being a disaster... anyway, comment below for your say.

Soulja Boy's First Time @ E3

Soulja Boy got a chance to test drive the newest in a Microsoft high-tech gaming project at his recent visit to the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

“Call me a nerd but every since I was a kid I always wanted to go to E3,” revealed Soulja Boy. “I used to read about it in Gamer Magazines all the time! Now that I’m rich & famous and whatnot I finally got a chance to attend it and try out all the games, lucky me,” Soulja Boy said in regards to the video he released of his gaming experience.

In the video, Soulja Boy can be seen walking with E3 Expo guides as they entered an exclusive room where Soulja Boy along with the SODMG entourage got a chance to test Microsoft’s Natal hands-free gaming controller which will work with every single Xbox 360 when it launches. If you don't what Project Natal is for the Xbox 360, Click Here for my previous post on that. I think that Halo 3: ODST is going to be amazing.

The E3 Expo took place from June 2-4 and will take place again on next year from June 15-17, 2010 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The E3 Expo which is owned by Entertainment Software Association (ESA) is the premiere trade show for computer games and video games as well as a showcase for related technology.

Kanye on The View

Kanye West is such a good guy when it comes down to the bottom of it, his only problem is he has such a big ego. But I feel bad for him that his mother dyed and all, that was a sad time. Check out the video above!

Overspending sucks...

According to a new report, its being stated that Scott Storch spent about $30 million in 6 MONTHS on Crack/Cocaine... check the video above out!

This is even sort of like the T-Pain, thing were he spent 401k on his chain that has showed up at some concerts sometimes. The chain says BIG A** CHAIN. In a recent interview he offered his point of veiw:

“10lbs. 197kts. Very very real I don’t know what fake feel like.$410,000. Hola señor recession proof. With 32 cars.Oldest child 5 and already got 4 million in her own account.I dont do dumb s**t like this till I know the fams good. So don’t judge me frm what I buy.Judge me frm what I do.Cuz it’s so many artists that put themself before their family but thanx yo.”

- T-Pain

I just think he should stop spending 401k on a CHAIN! As illseed on AllHipHop said:

JUST because you are rich doesn't excuse you from irresponsible behavior as a citizen. Sure, T-Pain is fully allowed to do whatever he wants with his money. I REPEAT T-Pain is allowed to do with his money however he so pleases! But does that mean we have to accept it as a societal norm or something we strive to do?

No.

We are in a recession and everybody I know is feeling a steady pinch from the economy. Furthermore, it is actions such as this that have gotten Americas in this current quandary – reckless, thoughtless spending. Those that don't have it are doing everything to get by. Those that do have should have some sort of innate desire to help those that don't, even if it’s a minor gesture like Diddy shunning ice in these trying times.

T-Pain could have change lives with that money -that $410.000 – which was spent on the silliest object ever. A chain. Oh never mind the notion that people died over the creation of such a gaudy piece of junk. Never mind the fact that it is something straight out of a CB4 parody. Never mind the fact that, in this writer's opinion, the big a** things is just corny!

Imagine, if you can, T-Pain dividing that 410k and giving it to needy college students. Or inner city schools in need of an after school program. What about families where one or both parents has been laid off. How about a self-serving business in the hood that employs people and also put money back in T-Pain's pocket?
And I fully agree he could of given the money to kids in Africa, who actually really need the money! Kids in Africa are drinking dirty water and have to carry 40 pound jugs at least 3-20 miles to get clean water... everyday!, but whatever that's just my view on it.
