The Natal Project...

So today, I was just looking on Xbox.com to see if I could change my Gamertag photo... and then I found this (the video above). The video above is Project Natal for the Xbox 360 which is a "revolutionary" way of playing games without a controller... or a remote. As you can see in the first video that everything looks so fake, and probably acted out (which probably took for ever), but then I saw the video above which actually showed that they weren't acting it out... it was real. Check out the demonstration video below.

So if you think that's weird... check this video out below. It shows what one company (Lionhead Studios) is working on already for Project Natal.

I think that one day based on this... Computers and machines are going to take over like in Terminator cause everything you see is real, and to be honest I thought something like this would probably come out in like... 2040.

I'm Still FLY!

If you want to see the actual video and not the short cartoon thingy (or what ever it is), skip to 1:17. This song is by Page featuring my main man Drake. It's called I'm Still Fly (I know pretty obvious based on the chorus and the title of this blog post, ahaha) I really really like this hook. Drake did it.

IN CASE you found the chorus really catchy like me, and want to sing along (not like me) here they are:
I'm still fly (Yea) I'm sky high
And I dare anybody to try and cut my wings (Uh)
I'm still pullin' out the phantom
And these haters can't stand him (That's me singin' by the way... in case you didint know)
Ni**a I'm still doin my thing
I'm still fly I'm sky high (Yea some new shit... new shit I'm on)
And I dare anybody to try and cut my wings (I promise I got em)
I'm still shuttin coities down (Look) everytime I come around
Ni**a I'm still doin my thing (Here I go) I'm still...
Things Young People Do mixtape by Page is coming soon. I spotted this on HipHopDX's archives so, yeah... I know I am late.

Can't Me (and Him) Now!

I had to post this I was in the moment, it's such a good song anyway so I am just going to post it if anyone hasn't heard or seen of this song yet. This is Can't Stop Me by Jadakiss off of his The Last Kiss album... no, it's not his last album. By the way, doesn't the Chinese Guy on 0:34, look like Rich Boy? If you have no idea who Rich Boy looks like, Click Here, if you want a referral.

Below is an interview taken by Complex Magazine

Complex: Talk about the new album. Did you feel a little more pressure since you haven't put out a solo album in five years?

Jadakiss: Nah, I ain't really feel no pressure for the album. There's a little pressure because of how the game is changing, and all the digital technology, and how finicky the fans ears are. I'm just a blessed person, just to get love in general. Of course this album is going to be different than my other two because there was much more money spent. The computer thing is sort of trickery, so it's really not even the music. If you make good music, they believe in you, but you have to have your websites poppin', you got to be on these blogs, you got to be at all these types of events. You got to be everywhere, and doing everything, and the more they see and hear you, the more chance you have at success.

Complex: The album's original title was Kiss My Ass. Did the label make you change that to something a little more Wal Mart friendly?

Jadakiss: The label would have left it at Kiss My Ass and let it sell five units if that's what I wanted to do, but from a business point, business man aspect of it, that wasn't smart. People loved it, hardcore hip-hop fans and genuine fans that have been following me loved the idea of that title, but just the fact that Circuit City is closing, Virgin Megastore is closing, there's not too many outlets where you can even get CDs, so to limit my joint to two of the biggest retail stores, I would have been an asshole.

Complex: Right

Jadakiss: So I decided to make the mixtape with Green Lantern. I teamed back up with Green to make the mixtape that's going to come out on February 10 called Kiss My Ass, and the album will come out March 10, The Last Kiss. So I still covered my grounds.

Bing.com V/S Google... I think we all know who Wins

This is so dumb, it's not even funny... Bing.com... really? My dad said he saw in a newspaper that Mircosoft wants to get back at Google and create a better and more realiable serch engine... also they want people to start saying "I am going to Bing that instead of, "I'll Google that," which we all know sounds so much more cooler than Bing. Check out the commercial we saw while watching the Lakers game above.

I knew the MTV Incident was FAKE!

Above is the video showing it happen sorry, I couldn't get it in any higher quality this was all I could find.

YN at RapRadar recently reported that the MTV Incident was all fake. Sacha Baron Cohen caused a comotion as "Bruno" when he landed ass first on Eminem. Many said for the days whether the stunt was staged, and some said it was real, with everyone speaking except the man himself, Eminem. Breaking his silence, Em spoke exclusively to RapRadar about the entire "ordeal".

RR: Can you clear up the Bruno stunt at the MTV Awards? Was it staged or planned?
Eminem: Sacha called me when we were in Europe and he had an idea to do something outrageous at the Movie Awards. I'm a big fan of his work so I agreed to get involved with the gag.

If it wasn't planned the way you agreed to, do you hold MTV or Sacha responsible and will you take any kind of action?

I'm thrilled that we pulled this off better than we rehearsed it. It had so many people going "nuts" so to speak. Everyone was blowing me up about it.

After you left the ceremony, where did you go?
After the ceremony I went back to my hotel and laughed uncontrollably for about 3 hours. Especially after I saw it on air.

There is a report today that your hotel room was robbed and thieves got 60K and your laptop while you were at ceremony. Is that true and if so what would someone find on your computer?
The only thing was that I lost a Nike watch that we were looking for. The rest it is made-up like half the other stuff out there.

By the way... I saw it happen I was laughing the whole time.

We On Gem!

This might be an old song, I know... forgive me. Anyway this is We On by Gemstones (who was previously Gemini but had to change his name for legal purposes). He is from Chicago and is known for his various appearances on Lupe Fiasco albums. For more info on Gemstones, Click Here, or look below.

Co-signed by Lupe and signed to his 1st & 15th label, GemStones is definitely one to watch for. He’s been holding a mic since the third grade, but his flow is anything but elementary. Formally known as Gemini, GemStones switched up his moniker after running into a legal technicality. “I got a call from my lawyer like ‘some cat got Gemini already,” he says, “but people were callin' me GemStones at that time too. All my fans were callin' me Gemini, but in the hood, it was GemStones. So when it came time to change names I was like, 'Aight, cool.' I got tired of Gemini anyway 'cause people who didn’t know me were like, 'Gemini? What are you a stripper?'"
Impressed? I am.

Look out for Hopsin

Hip Hop fans remember Ruthless Records for being an introduction point to N.W.A., The D.O.C. and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, and now it's Hopsin's turn. He recently just signed to them and is ready to go... apparently he was very popular around his neighborhood. Here's a quote from HipHopDX.com doing an interview.

"Before I got the deal, I was doing little Hip Hop showcases every now and then, and basically just promoting myself on MySpace. I didn't really have a lot of knowledge as far as marketing myself, 'cause it was just me," Hopsin admitted to HipHopDX, speaking from the Ruthless offices in Los Angeles. "I was making all the beats that I rap to and directing all my videos, but I just didn't know how to get out there; I didn't have a manager too." In an age where artists like Drake and Mickey Factz have created movements without labels, the west coast rapper says label support made him national, "The buzz wasn't really, really that big. It was nothing, except around my neighborhood."
Also his label has made a very nice cleanup with who is staying and who is going on the label, because CEO Tomica Wright wants to make sure that every new artist does get focused on from the label perseptive but more from the individual itself.

Hopsin has an album he is working on called
Gazing At The Moonlight with two singles that have already reached the web "Pans In The Kitchen (the video above) & I Am Here." Look out for his album due to release in early 2010. For more information of Hopsin, Click Here.
