On Other News...

"Though no working title has been confirmed for the album, it is said that the set will be released on November 23rd. Details are still sketchy regarding Rihanna’s new album, but a new confirmation has just been brought forth by Play.com that the set is slated to be made available in stores on November 23rd later this year. Notwithstanding the release date, working title for the record remains in question. Rihanna, who has had a rough year after she was assaulted by ex-boyfriend Chris Brown during an argument in February, has been working on her new studio album for quite sometime. She keeps things related to the record under tight wraps, but it is widely believed that she has enlisted the help from some top notch musicians for the set.

The All-American Rejects’ vocalist Tyson Ritter, record producers Stargate, James Fauntleroy, Christopher “Tricky” Stewart, The-Dream, Justin Timberlake, Jay-Z, Kanye West, OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder, Soulja Boy, Shontelle and Pharrell Williams are all rumored to make contribution to the album. Most recently, Ne-Yo shared with E! News during 2009 MTV Video Music Awards on September 13th that he and Rihanna had been in a songwriting session. “Expect an edgier, almost angrier Rihanna on this one. Rihanna says some things on this album that you’ve never heard her say before,” he revealed. Fellow music star Akon also uttered some words about Rihanna’s upcoming album, saying “I’m going to lighten her up. I don’t want an angry Rihanna.”"

Interesting album cover. Very different what the other one was... what ya'll think?

"Sooner Or Later It All comes Crashing Down..."

Everyone I show this song their like "Oh My God, how come I have never heard this song before?" Well it's cause you haven't heard of the amazing N.E.R.D. and since my friend Addison wanted me to do a post about them cause he loves them so much like I do. I decided to do a post on them with one of their greatest songs. Sooner or Later. You may also known them for "Everyone Nose (All the Girls Standing in the Line for the Bathroom)." Thank me later. P.S. N.E.R.D. is Pharrell, Chad Hugo, and another guy... also known as the The Neptunes with one extra guy.

Drake's So Far Gone

NOTE: If it says it's only going to play 30 Seconds it's lying.

Ok, since I for some reason just fell in love with this mixtape all over again after going into Drake rehab for a couple of weeks (no I am not gay). Anyway since I was bored and it's a weekend I decided to upload the whole album to imeem for you guys... even though some songs are being sketchy. Just click the box of the song you want to play if it's unchecked an press play. Gracias and Thank me later.

Breathe...

I know I have been posting soooo much music but I couldn't miss out on this one. Plus it's basically the standout song on his album "Universal Mind Control" which is actually surprisingly good but oh well. Enjoy and Thank me later.

The Sunday Edition | Kanye West

Well, I was just thinking about how good and original Kanye West is when he is not interrupting people in the middle of their acceptance speech. Anyway, Kanye is such a inspiration to me when it comes to killing it in the studio so here is one for the road Kanye. Thank me later.

Nike Auto Force 180's

Nike’s Auto Force 180 is an update to the Air Force 180. Nike gave this new sneaker a vulcanized sole to give it a more casual/lifestyle look. The same velcro strap on the upper provides a custom fit. This colorway is a classic colorway which also sits well on the crisp white sole. These are now available at Finishline.
These shoes are MINT!!

The Glory

Imagine the glory and pride Lupe has just standing up their and preforming, doing his thing since the record company didn't push his single "Shining Down." Yup, you didn't know that right? Well, I was at the concert actually and he said that the record ditched him and his team and isn't pushing his single to the radio or trying to pay for everything even after all the success with "Superstar," and "Hip-Hop Saved My Life." Even after he had a #1 album "The Cool" which was everywhere. Man, gets me mad, Anyway enjoy the slideshow from the Concert in NYC (My Hometown) @ Governor's Island (which I went to).

"Took A Pic on My Camera..."

The Drug and Ain't No Sunshine, my personal favorite track from Theophilus London's mixtape titled "This Charming Mixtape." Sounds simple right? Well Brooklyn-born and raised artist THeophilus London is FAR from simple. Trust me. If you think these sound like average tracks from a rapper that isn't signed at all (and isn't planning to be), then you and that downtown kiid have a problem. For the mixtape, check out the link below. Thank me later.
