Unforgettable 12:13:00 PM

This song has been on repeat 24/7 since June 11th (Yeah 4 days before the release... a DJ I know sent it too me, don't judge).

Finally school is done! I really want to make this summer as good as the summer of 08... the best summer of my life. I think it's going ok, so far. The VP of EMI Music Publishing came over the other day and asked me to intern on his new record label "BedStyle Records," AND he wants my artist (I-CON) on my record label on his label, so were going to do a joint venture deal. So this means Jake (I-CON) might get bigger quicker than expected (from radio play, easier to online market, etc.).

On Saturday I have camp so I promise I'll post something before I leave. This year at camp honestly, I have four goals, (1) Workout as much as I can, (2) Make no enemies (which I usually accomplish easy), (3) forget about school (it's been stressing me out more than anything else this year), and (4) be real.

Paradise | Hawaii Edition 6:39:00 AM

Sketch Dan | Waikiki, Hawaii

I was just listening to KiD CuDi and this song came up called "Muai Wowie" some of you might know the song, and some of you may not. Anyways, in the song he seemed to be talking about how great Honolulu was to get this "Muai Wowie," so I looked up Muai Wowie and found it was some of the best weed in the world (haha, somewhat surprising), and I found out that Hawaii was the newest state in the United States so I figured I might as well just see some pictures of it to see what all this hype about this place was. And this is the amazing pictures I found. Hit the jump for more.

Kanye West's Glow In The Dark Book 10:55:00 PM

THIS IS THE PHOTO BOOK FROM THE GLOW IN DARK TOUR. NABIL CAPTURED THE EXPERIENCE LIKE CRAZY! WHEN I LOOK AT THE PHOTOS IT BRINGS ME RIGHT BACK TO THAT TIME! IT’S VERY EMOTIONAL FOR ME BECAUSE I DIDN’T WANT TO HAVE TO TOUR BUT MY PAIN BROUGHT MY GREATEST CREATION TO DATE. THANK YOU TO EVERYBODY WHO CAME TO THE SHOWS AND EXPERIENCED THIS MOMENT IN TIME WITH ME!
– Kanye West

I don't know about ya'll and how much ya'll hate Kanye by now but I heard the tour was FIRE! If I was rich enough to reach the price point ($50) then I would get it. Anyway, check out a couple pictures I uploaded from his site.

Nike Auto Force 180's 10:54:00 AM

Nike’s Auto Force 180 is an update to the Air Force 180. Nike gave this new sneaker a vulcanized sole to give it a more casual/lifestyle look. The same velcro strap on the upper provides a custom fit. This colorway is a classic colorway which also sits well on the crisp white sole. These are now available at Finishline.

These shoes are MINT!!

The Glory 11:13:00 PM

Imagine the glory and pride Lupe has just standing up their and preforming, doing his thing since the record company didn't push his single "Shining Down." Yup, you didn't know that right? Well, I was at the concert actually and he said that the record ditched him and his team and isn't pushing his single to the radio or trying to pay for everything even after all the success with "Superstar," and "Hip-Hop Saved My Life." Even after he had a #1 album "The Cool" which was everywhere. Man, gets me mad, Anyway enjoy the slideshow from the Concert in NYC (My Hometown) @ Governor's Island (which I went to).

Flashback Post│The Frosty Posse 5:26:00 PM

This is seriously my favorite commercial of the year. The video below is the Behind The Scenes.

I think this deserves to be the Flashback post of the month obviously cause of the epicness of their angel-like voices. Anyway, enjoy this amazing commercial and the making of it. Thank me later.

How about this... since me and iiAtlas like making artwork for the posts and the blog and everything... what if we made a new blog banner (at the top currently) every month that shows a different place in NYC (our favorite place in the world)? What would you think? Comment your opinions below.

Wale's Attention Deficit Album Artwork 6:53:00 PM

As soon as I saw this I was like "I'M POSTING THIS." I have to say Wale seemed whack at first but he really is starting to impress me. I like his style and every new song I hear... I listen to more, haha. Anyway, enjoy. Oh yeah and thank me later.

Jay-Z & Rhapsody Recreate's Album Artwork Commercial 6:46:00 PM

Come every Jay-Z album release is a multi-million dollar marketing campaign. Jay-Z teamed up with Rhapsody this (what’s a Rhapsody?) and it looks like they will be the first (no they won’t) to exclusive bring you his 11th studio LP,The Blueprint 3 on September 1st. They will also be the first (yes they will) to drop 2 exclusive bonus tracks from the album on September 8th. Now this commercial above is pretty creative. Recreating history here.

Oh my god this is like the 20th post we've done about Jay-Z but, hey... I can't hate the man is taking over the web with his album leak and the anticipation. Bravo Jay. Anyway, the commercial is supposedly supposed to "recreate" his album artwork for all his career... and I can't lie Rhapsody does a good job of it. Enjoy. Thank me later.

Mickey Factz's Crazy Day w/ Lupe Fiasco & The Cool Kids in Tokyo 1:38:00 AM

The following is from Mickey Factz's Twitter account pieced together thanks to The LupE.N.D. Blog.

Ok guys!!! ya'll ready to hear about my adventurous day in Tokyo? First and foremost, one love to Swagger clothing for bringing me to Japan. Ight, so we had a photo shoot... me, Lupe and The Cool Kids. My outfit was absolutely stupid... I killed my homies in that shoot...I got my swagger limited edition Nikes... MAROON AND SKY BLUE... they don't come out till god knows when...Pics coming soon...

So Lupe decided he wanted to go shopping on the low...and takes us to this spot in the cut that had every sneaker imaginable...smmmh but we had to leave, so I barked on him and blamed him for ruining my trip lol

So ya'll wanna know about the cipher right?? So, Mikey Rocks was down, Mickey Factz was down, Chuck Inglish was roaming and Lupe was nowhere to be found. Mikey was actually the one like "Lets Rap!" I don't know where Lupe was when that was said. Lupe is a beast, I think he went shopping at that point though... smh Lupe is the homie tho...back to the activities... So the show was sold out... 3000 fans... craaaaazy...First time ever attempting a stage dive and landed on a girl... smmmh

Japanese kid took my Y-3 beads off my neck...I snatched them shits back fiercely... BX... lol what was crazy was, he snatched them then put them on...I had to reverse the situation and pop his chain...Homie was bold... he dead ass put the beads on...I hit him with the haduken.... he fell back so far...

So I tell Lupe what happened... and he says, "They took my beads once and turned into ninja's..." lol...I then say, "You know what the people want, right?" He goes, "me on stage?" I say, "no fool, a collab" smh

The Cool Kids ripped it, Lupe killed it... It was a great show!

Late Night Affliction 1:03:00 AM

Not only do I love this song for personal reasons but, Maxwell's voice has always struck me as honey to my ears, no homo though. Just saying. Enjoy.
